Jukebox Mahjong Terms of Use

Last updated: October 15, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Steve Ueda ("we", "us") about the game Jukebox Mahjong (the "Game"). By playing the Game you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Game. Our Privacy Policy (https://game1.steveueda.com/privacy) explains how we handle information.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play the Game on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in line with these Terms and the App Store's rules. We and our licensors keep all rights in the Game, including its art, music, levels, code and name.

3. What you may not do

4. Tokens

5. Purchases and refunds

6. Ads

The Game may offer short reward videos from third-party ad networks. They are always optional: a video plays only when you choose to watch it, and the reward is given when it finishes. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or the sites they link to.

7. Changes to the Game

We may update, change, suspend or stop the Game or any part of it, and we may show different players different settings in order to improve it. We will try to give notice of significant changes in the Game.

8. Your feedback

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

9. Disclaimers

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the Game will be uninterrupted or error-free. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or virtual items. Our total liability for any claim about the Game is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

If we stop the Game entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the Game so you can use your tokens, and you may contact Apple about refunds as its policies allow.

11. Ending these Terms

You can stop at any time by deleting the Game. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections 4 (no cash value), 8, 9, 10, 13 and 14 continue to apply after these Terms end.

12. App Store terms

You got the Game from Apple's App Store, so the following also applies:

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Game or these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term, that is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them as part of a sale of the Game. We may update these Terms. If we do, we will change the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the Game before they apply.
